Homobifunctional Crosslinkers

Homobifunctional crosslinkers possess identical reactive groups at opposite ends of the crosslinker’s spacer arm. Homobifunctional protein crosslinkers have the advantage of being reacted in a one-step chemical crosslinking reaction. Homobifunctional crosslinkers can be used in the formation of protein dimers and protein polymers.
