Sulfhydryl-Reactive Resin is a chemically modified resin with iodoacetyl molecules immobilized on 6% crosslinked agarose with a 12-atom spacer arm. The bead size is 45 to 165 um. Sulfhydryl (thiol; -SH) containing peptides (0.5 -1 mg/mL resin) and protein (~ 1-10 mg/mL resin) can be covalently bound to Sulfhydryl-Reactive Agarose resin to create your specific affinity chromatography resin.
