Alkaline Phosphatase (AP) is ideal for labeling proteins such as streptavidin and antibody. The AP labeled proteins can be used in immunoblotting and immunocytochemistry diagnostic applications, including ELISA or Western blotting.
AP activity is > 3,000 units/mg of protein (one unit equals the amount of enzyme that will hydrolyze 1.0 micromole of p-nitrophenol phosphate (pNPP) per minute at 37°C in Diethanolamine pH 9.8).
CAS Number: 9001-78-9
