DSSeb crosslinker (Disuccinimidyl sebacate; Sebacic acid bis[N-hydroxysuccinimide ester]) is a homobifunctional crosslinking reagent which is cell membrane permeable. DSSeb crosslinker packaged as 100 mg per vial. DSSeb crosslinking takes place via amine-reactive NHS esters at both ends of a 10-atom (14.1 Angstrom) spacer arm. DSSeb must be dissolved in an organic solvent, such as DMSO or DMF, then added to an aqueous crosslinking reaction.
