ProteoChem's Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) activity is typically > 250 units/mg (one unit equals the amount of enzyme that will catalyze 1 mg of purpurogallin from pyrogallol in 20 seconds at 20°C and pH 6.0). The freeze drying buffer for Horseradish Peroxidase is 0.007M Tris-HCl pH 8.3 and accounts for approximately 2.5% by weight of the final lyophilized powder.
