Similar to Sulfo-NHS-Biotin (b2100-100mg and b2100-1gm), Sulfo-NHS-LC-Biotin is designed to target cell surface proteins. The sodium sulfonate groups lend water solubility to Sulfo-NHS-LC-Biotin and prevent it from crossing the lipid bi-layer of the cell membrane.
